School Field Trips

Groups are welcome. We have 20+ acres of blueberries, strawberries, cherries, peaches, apricots and nectarines for you to pick. Our parking lot is large and group reservations are not necessary. Last entry to the field is one hour before we close.

WE ARE NOT CURRENTLY SCHEDULING SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS for 2024

We are happy to welcome schools to our family farm. Tours and field trips need to be scheduled at least two weeks in advance. We do field trips and tours between 8am and 11am. We do not do tours or field trips on Saturdays or holidays. If you would like a tour and field trip please send us an email to vanderhelmfarms@gmail.com with information about your school and your requested date and time. Field trips and tours include a farm and field tour and berry picking, each person will be able to take home a container of berries they picked. Groups are limited to 40 people, this includes students, teachers, parents and siblings, minimum of 1 teacher/chaperone per 8 students. Cost is $15 for each person.
